Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone used STONITH agents with products from
Rittal? Namely the CMC-TC which allows programmable PowerSupply Units,
similiar to APC.
If anyone used these products and can let me know if there are any known
problems I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Tobias

Hi,
sorry for so many posts about STONITH but the documentation (at least on
linux-ha.org) is somewhat lacking in this department.
Just to get it right, I'm using IPMI as STONITH device. I have to set up
two resources in a 2-Node cluster and add constraints in order to force
each resource to run
Just a follow up - the backport of lenny to etch http://www.backports.org
fixed this bug. So the ccm issue has been fixed between version 2.0.7 and
2.1.3-6.
I could even use my configuration from 2.0.7 and it worked, however there seems
to be a minor issue with ucast entries in ha.cf not

Hi,
I am running some tests and note that stonith is restarting one of the
machines in the cluster. Is there a simple way to disable stonith?
Any help is appreciated.

STONITH
You could use
- ilo system management boards
- ipmi system managemt boards
- power swiches ,
You can even run stonith -l to figure out a proper set of
stonith devices.
And yes you can setup more than one heartbeat link.
Just add an other link derictive to /etc/ha.d/ha.cf

Hi Jason
any chance you started drbd at boot or the drbd device was active at the
time you started the cluster resource? If so, read the introduction of
the howto again and correct your setup.
