Firefox 3 - random crashes

Ever since upgraging from Firefox 2.* to 3.0.7, the browser randomly but FREQUENTLY closes for no **apparent** reason. Unfortunatly, about:crashes doesn't seem to work on Linux, so I have no idea where to look for the reason. I've looked at all the usual logs and ~/.mozilla/* and found nothing.

I almost forgot. There is an addon that detects problem in other extensions, it is meant for developers. You would install that extension and a suspect extension in a new profile, browse for a bit, then check for errors. I don't have details at the moment (I'm no on my home system) but if you canno
