What is a "locked directory"? How do I "unlock" one?
I have two locked directories in my $HOME/.vim directory. (They
may be artifacts of a power failure.): They show in Konqueror as
Locked Directory in the File Type column.

I got it w/o the mozplugger.
In slackware Netscape Preferences-Navigator-Helper Applications I had to
enable audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin to open with realplay.
In RedHat Netscape there are no Helper Applications and Realplayer will just
pop-up when called for.

Thanks! I made it, I have now normal sound in Slackware 9.1
First I did make modules, then make modules_install after which I had no more
sound. Doing /sbin/insmod soundcore it spit back no such file. Then I found
that there is no .../drivers/sound folder. I copied it over from RedHat9. Did

After doing stty erase "^B", it is not not erasing
after I do ctrl-B.

I had installed Linux 7.0 kernel 2.2.16-22.
Then i had done the following to upgrade the kernel to 2.4
