I've tried installing the software-RAID on my RedHat 5.1 box, with 2.0.35 kernel.
First I've updated both
kernel-headers and kernel-source .rpm's to 2.0.35, downloaded the
raid0145-19981005-C-2.0.35.gz drivers
from ftp.kernel.org, downloaded the raidtools 1.45 source from ftp.kernel org
