I"ve been running simulations on our RAD 1 box. I pulled out a drive
(they're hot-swappable) and it starts reconstruction on the spare disk but
after a while the machine hangs with scsi bus timeouts and resets.
I have done the same test without the spare disk. LEt it run in degraded

I've been reading docs but couldn't figure out how to re-create a raid
device without losing data.
What I wanna do is add a spare disk/partition to an existing raid1 array.
Is there a way to reconfigure the drive(s) without losing data?
I have changed the /etc/raidtab file and ran
