Lisa + Profile cable question

I've got my parallel printer port board, my Lisa 2 and my profile 10MB drive. However, I do not have an original cable. I've got a DB 25 male to male 'parallel' cable .. will that work for me? -- LisaList is sponsored by and... Shop buy.com and save.

The advice that solved my floppy drive issue: If your floppy moves the head "forward" to front or step-motor for the disk-spin the IC 103 is corrupted (straight below the motor for the head). If your floppy moves the head "backward" to step-motor for the head probably only your sensor is out of or
