Title: To Donna re: Neighbors/my question
Hi Dani: We're sorta neighbors, by the way.
Actually, my mom lives in East Dixfield, ME, about 45 minutes NW of Augusta. I spent a lot of time in Maine growing up as well, since my grandparents lived a half-hour north of Bangor during my childhood. I’m

Hi all,
I have a friend who’s come across a problem I haven’t seen before. I was hoping the folks on this list might be able to help:

Hi Aljaz,
In order to unsubscribe to the list, you actually have to go to the site, login and hit “unsubscribe” on the home page.

As a PC/Mac (primarily Mac) user, I've also found this to be true. Safari
has had a tendency to look fine no matter what I've thrown at it; the one
that tends to break is IE for Windows.

I was very lucky that I started building sites back in 2003. Until I read
that book in about 2005, I had decided that I would rather cut off my hands
than deal with building a website. Now, I actually kinda like web design.

Title: Re: [WSG] URL Safari Check
Hi there,
A few things I’m noticing:
~ Home, Products link doesn’t work.
~ Company Info, Conact, Links link leads to a page that just has a header and a white DIV that’s offset about 30px to the left of the border.
~ I’m not sure if this is intentional, but on
I agree with all of this. You could probably find an old classic iMac on
eBay or Craigslist for not a wicked lot of money.

Gotcha. Do you have Classic Mode at work? I've seen some places have it.

Sunny,
I'm sorry you had to go through this. If developing for IE is a genuine
issue for you, one of the things I do is I actually have a completely
craptastic Windows laptop that I test every site I create on. It was given

I don't know that it would necessarily be important to do that, but if you
wanted to, putting that information in the ALT text or TITLE text within the
image tag should work just fine. I imagine that putting the text with the
image would end up confusing folks.

This statement seems really odd to me, since I noticed that once I started
doing things strictly in CSS, my production time on the average website

I agree with this. I have a tendency to design all my sites with a width of
about 760; this leaves a bit of room on the sides, even at 800x600, and I
generally find that it makes for a more readable layout. Using up all the
space allotted isn't always the good idea folks sometimes think it is; if
