Jagadish, I'd like to see your XF86Config-4.sis6205 file. Keep in mind, that when you specify an XF86Config file, it doesn't use any of the other X settins in the lts.conf file. At least X 4 works that way, because the Xserver driver is specified inside the XF86Config file. X3.3.6 will still

If you really want to know if tftpd is running, do this: netstat -an | grep ":69 " (Notice there is a space between the 69 and the closing quote.) If tftpd and xinetd are configured properly, you should see a line like this: udp0 0 0.0.0.0:690.0.0.0:* If you don't see that li
