Try putting this line in your dhcpd.conf file:
ddns-update-style ad-hoc;
if that doesn't work try __
ddns-update-style none;
remember to look at /var/log/messages for errors
good luck

Hi all
I have been setting up PXE boot terminals today using 2.0.9pre4.
I have used Marty Connor's docs successfully with a PXE boot eepro100 using the
etherboot PXE loader.
I moved on to our IGEL etherterminals. These things can use PXE bootstrap using
the RTL8139 chip. I can get it to boot the

Hi Jim,
I've had the same problem with gdm on RH7.2. I can send the gdm config file
Monday (when I'm at work). kdm or xdm work fine. I do have the appropriate
recommended settings on gdm - also confirmed by gdmconfig.
Also Jim, is there any way to avoid plain text passwords in the clear over

Jim, I cannot really see the difference (please enlighten me) the
information gave me makes. I still need to download the file from
somewhere else than the dhcp-server. Even if I change the boot method to
TCP/IP (from PXE) on the NIC, the file cannot be downloaded.
