Hi Stephen,
Those security issues shouldn't be the only topic of LTSP, it is also
related to how you set up your email server and how your network setup via
different means of method. May be a better place to ask is the
slashdot.org. There are a lot of ways to help monitor the information flow.
Is it possible to run two X-sessions simultaniously on some terminals?
I have some users that need to access both the LTSP server and an SCO
OpenServer system - and be able to switch between the two.
Is it possible at all, and is it possible to enable the "two X-server"

V2.X is the old version and it used that path. This, among many other things,
was changed for V3.

I need to use a different keymap for my LTSP clients, which will be running
telnet only. Specifically, I need to have PageDown send ^D and PageUp send ^U.
I have created a keymap which does this, but it only works on the console, not
any random telnet client. I realized that since the LTSP

Yes, you can install ltsp without the X packages. Y

I believe webmin includes a module to do this. I haven't tried it myself,
but it's on the (long!) list of things to do.

Pete,
Maybe after I get it going again in the near future and package
it up a little better, for people that have not used perl and perl modules
before it can be a little trouble setting up.

Hi Ken,
Can your program serve switching off the Diskless workstation

machine is still running.

When a regular user (say, "jmc") logs onto my Linux (LTSP, Samba, DHCP)
server via his LTSP terminal I need an NT drive share to be mounted with
the permissions that NT intends.
Our NT file print server has a directory named "private" which contains

Sam,
Here's a program I made a while ago just for the purpose
your looking for. I've not worked on it for awhile but might
give you a starting point or something to hack.
I'm also starting a new Ltsp project and will be breaking back
into the program again soon.

the user of that machine from transferring the data outside the company.
Aside from that you have things like USB disks, pcmcia disks, email,

Title: LTSP and dhcpd on port 1001/1002
Hi
I have been setting up a LTSP system for booting a ICA Client. In order not to change a lot on our existing dhcp-system I got the suggestion from this list to run the dhcp server on port 1001/1002. I've changed the settings in etherboot to use the
