Currently we are using Webmin to manage the lts.conf. This is OK. However we have an
Asset DB on a MSSql server. Right now we are duplicating data between the two DB's.
How can I make the lts clients query a Microsoft SQL 2000 database to configure
themselves? Is it possible?

Hi!
As far as i understood MTRR's is some stuff to map memory ranges in the
kernel (maybe i am wrong). To get rid of a message like "no MTRR's avail"
you can activate this in the kernel config under "prozessor stuff".
It normally has nothing to do with ltsp besides that the ltsp-kernel is

Will the chip, and MoBo manufacturers ever STOP the performance race,
and bring the prices of current, or older units way DOWN.
Without a source of CHEAP, medium performance boards, the whole point of
server apps goes down the tubes. It's all very well for schools, an

Hi All Folks,
Happy 2003
Is there a software from OpenSource which can regulate
the browsing time of a workstation. That is the
adminstrator of the Terminal Server can set the
browsing time of a workstation. When it expires
connection to Internet via Terminal Server will be cut

Hi Folks!
I've now invested some time to try this out but have not really succeeded.
Maybe somebody already knows a solution to this problem.
What i want is that a "current" release of the nvdidia drivers work with a
ltsp client.
What i've tried was - recompile a ltsp-kernel from the 2.4.18 orig
If you manually specify the pxe workstations because they need specific
stuff you can make the rest be totally automatic.
I have bought some Jammin boxes from disklessworkstations.com and all I
have to do is plug them in, turn them on, and up comes RH8. :)
I can share my dhcp conf if you need it.
