What other fanless cases/motherboards/all-in-one units does anyone
recommend for LTSP 3?

Jim -
Thanks for the advice.
Installing LTSP from rpms - same rpms I've successfully installed on various RH9
machines...
Hey ho, time to try again.

Hi all -
As part of a network migration process I'm now trying LTSP on Redhat Enterprise server.
To (try) to allow LTSP packages to install and then run ltsp_initialize successfully I
put redhat-release into /etc exactly as per Red Hat 9 (Shrike)
I install latest LTSP_core package (3.0.9) whi

David,

We are using the same setup but we run peewee linux locally on the machine.
We
install a compact flash ide adapter for the os and remove the case fans.
This has
worked absolutely fabulous as these machines are used in a very dirty
manufacturing
environment.
Now mind you I don't specifically use L
Hi all
We've been using LTSP 3 on our network for about 1 year now with Epia motherboards
placed in some rather boring cases.
These have got nasty whiny little fans that we want to do away with...
We've tried the fanless Epia-M board, but couldn't get the graphics to work despite a
lot of good

I am just missing something here as the idea of running 2k in vmware on an ltsp
server is seriously not cost effective be cuase you have just run the price of each 2k
lic. up by at least $120 to $300 per seat)education copy or commercial ). the money
you will save in lic alone would p

The distribution configuration files are in the
