haven't found any. Does anyone know of any thin clients that can do
1680x1050, 1920x1200, or higher?
I don't think any of Via's EPIA motherboards can do this. But, I don't
really know because their damned
Hi,
I can report Via Epia Ml6000A working fine with 1600x1200 (I did not try

Just curious if anyone has tried these as LTSP terminals and what your
opinion of them is? Thanks,

The LTSP Term 170 from http://www.disklessworkstations.com supports up to
1600 x 1200. It's a great little thin client.

I wonder when those guys from disklessworkstations introduce some client
based on the new Via Epia CN series boards and C7 processors. Those
have even less power consumption and are approx 2 times faster than Epia
boards using CLE266 chipset.

the problem you are describing has nothing to do with LTSP.
Perhaps karen was logged in at the console and mounted the cd, or it's a
Gnome thing, where all users running Gnome see a cdrom that is inserted
into the server. For that problem, I believe there was talk a few weeks
ago about a
Hello list,
I am having a weird problem with localdev on a new setup. I've
installed Scott's new sytem a half dozen times but this time no joy.
Two weird things are happening.
1) When I insert a USB key, a second floppy drive appears along with the
removable media entry.

I don't think i've heard of anyone else complaining about the audio when
moving the mouse. And, we've sold alot of these units to people using them
for call centers (Very audio intensive).
Ok, well I called Diskless Workstations and spoke with Eric, and we're
working on getting this fixed.

We use the ICAclient v9.0 to connect to remote citrix servers with our LTSP machines. Sometimes when trying to connect, the ICAclient will give an error the remote SSL peer sent a Close Notify alert (SSL error 43)
What is strange is the the error is specific to the thin client. If the user logs

I want to mount local virtual harddisk ide 0:0
I have loaded the ide module by adding

The module gets loaded.
But still the Virtual harddisk is not

Kinda planet you came from :P
Then if you can do so, you're not using LTSP.

Who's using NTFS? That's a windows thing and LTSP has nothing to do
with it.

I don't think so. Are you not using DHCP ?

Hi, all..
I've been a user of linux diskless terminals for quite some time. I've been

of Gentoo.
Also, I at first started using LTSP (actually k12ltsp at the very first time)
