I read that Ubuntu is planning to move to Wayland as the default display
technology (not sure what the proper term is) in the next year or so.
Will this affect the ability to run LTSP on that distro in any way?

By default, Ubuntu puts users in their own group (as the primary
group). There have been issues in the past with local devices when the
primary group is common. I am not sure if that was fixed in 10.04 or
later.
If you are using centralized authentication, you should also make sure
that the users

I do that like this on Debian Lenny, yes.
But see Gadi's post : be sure to not have it already in the kernel.

You are good-to-go with fuse.
If you have ltspfs installed on the server, and the users are not all

im running ubuntu 10.04
Many distros have compiled fuse statically into the kernel rather than
shipping it as a module. The better way to check is with:
grep fuse /proc/filesystems

Hi,
Does a list of thin clients and LTSP compatibility exist anywhere?
I was looking on the wiki and found the page
https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/ltsp/index.php?title=Clients
which seems the most likely place, but it's empty.
Is there any consensus that this would be the correct place

cdrom/floppy and browse their content but when I insert a blank cd-r
and try to burn with brasero|k3b the app says it cannot find any cd
