I use the lines [pxe003] XF86CONFIG_FILE = XF86Config.pxe003 in lts.conf to specify a config file rather than have it auto generated. This proved to be the only way to get the specific modelines I wanted. Specifying mode lines didn't work. I think it was interfered with by our monitors DD
