On the other hand it could just redirect the user at Macromedia's
comment page...

Got it! And we'll be writing up the docs and creating packages for just
that thing. It was truly one of the most horrific things I've ever had
to do to a computer. I can honestly say, "Holy Carpfins, that was NOT
what I expected."

Yeah, I'm still trying to get rpc.statd working correctly. Any hints as
to how to get it working? I've got to have this working 3 days ago and
I'm going to have to give up and use ssh and lpd soon. That however is
not the best of the options.

Actually I'm wrong. rpc.lockd won't start on the server. I launch it
and it immediately shuts down. Any ideas?

Found the discussion on portmap needing to start up. Portmap is
running. It will not allow me to mount my filesystems without nolock
though and nolock is causing data corruption.

I'm having some serious NFS issues. I've got LTSP not really doing
terminal services as much as diskless workstations and the clients are
having all kinds of issues access files via NFS. Where we're really
running into problems is with locking. When I remove the nolock option
from the mount com
Well, typically the terminals (when in X) are accessed by ctrl+alt+F1..6
and the different X desktops are accessed through Alt+F1..6. However,
since Gnome and KDE have both started using the Alt modifier key to
perform operations it's a little confusing. You can change your key
mappings but I do
