all of which work fine with the
LTSP. Looking at the spec sheet for the T5735 these will work too. The o/s
installed on the thin client is irrelevant for LTSP use; for example our
T5300s are Windoze CE based while the T5135s are Linux based. They PXE boot
and load the LTSP kernel.

;s not an LTSP but it looks an interesting idea. One of our students is
going to do work experience with us, and I plan to get him to build a 4 user

in. Originally we had 6 of the Athlons and they supported 90 clients
without too many problems; the Xeons have no probs at all. We've been running
this method of load balancing for 3 years and I don't expect us to look to a
more sophisticated solution. I should probably retire the At

It's been a long time but I from memory we used the 8139 0x10ec,0x8138 image.
I see there are several 8139 images in the rom-o-matic site; why not grab
them all and see which one works for you?

We're sticking to the web interface. It runs much faster than locally

it take s long for a linux version of the browser to come out, especially
as there has been a linux version of the server for ages?

We've just bought Compaq T5520s for £169 (ex vat) direct from HP. These come

A bit off topic but here is how to setup a six-headed, six-user Linux system

for a very small installation.
