Can i use a differetn login Manager other than GDM but still have a Gnome
Desktop?

Integrated with AD via samba and winbind.
EVerything works great until a users password is ready to expire and
windows gives that warning. Users are unable to login to GDM while thier
password is warning it will expire in x days.
Anyone know a workaround ?

I have an LTSP server running on Centos 6 64 bit.
One issue i have encountered with some users but not mine has been the
inability to move icons on thier desktop around.. they simply will not
move..
Any ideas on this one ?

working flawlessly with a new IBM x3620 running Centos 5.5. Since we are not
Pxebooting we arent using the chroot'd LTSP environment so i went to
Centos5.5 from Fedora 13 because i was having to many issues with a number

They all work fine from anything else in the system (ie Evolution etc)
Just not in open office.

I am running LTSP 4.1 on an Iseries with Netvista 8363 thin clients
attaching to the system.
When i attempt to start the client access 5250 emulator its returning
this error message.
Is there any idea of how i can get this to work. Since the XF86Config
is coming from ltsp.
Should I just symlink

Ok , just to ensure that things are not wacked on the server i did a
fresh install of the k12ltsp distro v4.1
I am able to connect to the server from a windows client over the
XDMCP session so this is working correctly
The client boots the linux kernel and connects to the server
successfully. I am
I am now using Karl's Netvista kernel and the thin client seems to be
booting properly to run level 3 , but when its switching to run level
5 it never initiates the X session on the screen
