I have a problem with Epoptes. We tried to install it on our LTSP-Setup.
I followed the instructions on http://www.epoptes.org/installation
We use Ubuntu 10.04 LTS for our LTSP.
The Problem is, that basic functions work (rebooting the client) and
broadcasting the teachers-screen
Do you have x11vnc installed in the chroot? I am running the same 10.04
setup and it works decently, more than happy to assist you.

With help from from Alkis I just solved my problem:
First step:
In addition to the guide (http://www.epoptes.org/installation) you have
to install the epoptes-client not just in the chroot but also in the
ltsp-app servers.
And you have to pull the certificate from the server.
Second step:
In
FYI the SERVER argument in /etc/defaults/epoptes-client should work by
default, as LTSP automatically adds a line to the client's /etc/hosts file
with the line server ip of the ltsp server, which is a nice touch!
