I had a mysterious crash problem that only happened occasionally
(found out it was caused by run away Netscape sessions) that I diagnosed
by running top once a minute on the server and saving the output into a
log file. Crude, but it led me to the problem since I had a minute by
minute
I've adjusted /proc/sys/fs/file-max to 65536 several months ago.
Now I want to reboot my LTSP server on Sunday nights.
Maybe it'll help.
