FWIW: cat /proc/pci does not list anything obvious for audio, but there is one device listed as "Class ff00: Apple Computer, Inc. Paddington Mac I/O" I also get messages at the console like: INIT: ld "s3" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes for s{3,4,5,6,a,8,b,7,c,9), if that means any

I just set up a ppc terminal for my new gentoo LTSP system. I used the HOWTO at: http://wiki.ltsp.org/twiki/bin/view/Ltsp/CpuArchitectures#LTSP_on_Latter_Day_Macintosh_G3 to set it up and that worked fine. I have esound installed on my server, but have not changed the default configuration. W
