Soren, did you fix your problem? From what you're sayin the X from the console does not seem to be able to contact the XDM on your server. One way I usually debug such problems quickly is to launch X manually from a console. In your lts.conf change your SCREEN_01 for: SCREEN_01 = shell Once the
