This is where virtualization can really help. You can test the entire
new server in a virtual environment on one PC, place certain VMs on
certain networks, etc. If you need to boot physical clients, if you
have a dual port server attach a second network switch and run an LTSP
server on each port. O

machine and you all know that one is very low end thin client. But it

I was working on a clean Ubuntu 10.4 LTSP install today and noticed that
same thing with the root of the tftp server. I soft linked the
/var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp directory to /srv/tftp/ltsp and built a new client
image.
I get to the beginning of the Ubuntu splash page but I don't get any
movement on

It have two ltsp server one for my usage and the other for a COOP.
The first is a 64 bits and I used the upgrade manager.
COOP's serveur is a new install in 32 bits.
Both gave me same results.
I did the change and now I can see logon splash screen.
Autentification of user seems alright sinc
