Hi Warren,
I've also been irritated that the FHB site will deny Mozilla and
Konqueror for no real reason. You can't see the code that sniffs the
browser - it's in a server-side script at

It seems that I cannot use FHB Online with Mozilla in either Linux or
Windows. Even after changing the user agent in prefs.js to make it look
like Internet Explorer 5.5 on Windows 98, I still get the same browser
error page.

Aloha all,
I finally got RH7.3 up and working. It took a while to configure the
correct network settings but I figured it out. Matter of fact this is
coming from Mozilla Mail. :) I still have a few things to work on.

Wow. I'm writing this with Moz 1.0 , and it's thought-provoking to
consider how long I've been waiting for this.
Very Cool. Very gratifying to think of all of the folks who kept
plugging away at getting from the first version I tried (it might have
been .4 or something) to the big one.

A simpler solution (without all the fancy GUIs of course) is possibly on
a much lower powered system than this.
I personally ran my 56k using an older version of my iptables ruleset on
a 486-SX/25 with 24MB of RAM. Worked great.
Of course, I'm plugging my ruleset, but it's also possible to w
Thanks for the help. Is there a way to have the background set to a
certain color by default, so that I don't have to set the flags everytime?
By the way I am using icewm on KDE.

Yeah, I was considering buying a giant dual G(5) after I graduate and start

I made the switch to mac (actually OS X) about a month ago and will never go
back. I now have a machine with true hackability built in,, yet is easy enough
to use that my kids and computer-phobic wife can use it. This thing is gorgeous

Not sure if this is kosher; I am responding to my own posting, primarily
to save someone effort. I did look up and found a windows (actually
DOS) version of md5 which I can use. I also found a site which has the
32 bit checksum listed. So tonight I plan to run that on the CD1 iso of
the Mdk 8.
Refusing to confirm the security flaw, the Microsoft spokesman said the

I actually normally configure them for RAID5...typically 4 drives striped
and 1 drive parity. However, I've also setup 3 drives striped and 1 drive
parity. A little slower, but LOTS more reliable.
Now having said that, I've also done nutso and went crazy once and did a

Thanks Brian,
Question, as I understand it, these arrays are typically set to RAID-0 for
striping across the drives, thereby increasing throughput. Assuming this
is correct, do you know how many drives are required, or typically
required, for this?
