I just copied 2 new packages (one made on mentors.debian.net, one made
by Unit193), available for testing and evaluation :
- compton : a composite manager, to handle transparency and some
simple effects. We can consider it as an option for a default
installation, but not enable by default
- xo
decided after the 13.04 release.
I already have some ideas and plans in my pocket, but no need to
elaborate them until the discussion is over.

Why not just add a mention on the wiki to use fake-pae for people in
this case ? It seems less complicated that downloading a full version
of Lubuntu just for this.
If you are blocked by the upgrade tool, just advertise the use of
"apt-get dist-upgrade".

patches, choice, apply to open source solutions, even if there are
unique on a specific distro. You can't apply the same to closed
