Try this:
Set up your filter for a fairly narrow boosted band.
Sweep it up and down the range, listening for it to make the plicks worse.
This tells you the frequency to cut.
Experiment with depth of cut, and bandwidth.
Good luck, and don't expect miracles.
Have you tried different
cut
everything beyond 10kHz, and it helps a lot, but refinements would be
good.

control with the Octavia. Best if you can try them. Matching may be another
issue.
