I just tried to "reLyX" some .tex generated by Scientific Word.
\begin{align} and \end{align} do not get translated although this
certainly would be a nice feature ;-)

gettext-0.10.35 for emx-0.9c/os2. It includes ported autoconfig m4
macros, which should work on OS/2 emx, cygwin and UNIX.
Has this already be tested with LyX? Should it be made standard and
checked for in configure/configure.cm

I took a look at the oldish font toggle problem and it seems I solved
it. Since the fix took only 3-4 lines and Joacim (?) gave up on it
earlier, I suspect that I overlooked something.
Could people have a look at it? For reference I append the relevant
patch.

LyX forces me to enter at least one character. It will not accept a blank, so I
put in a period just to get by. I don't want a period to print, however. I went
