In the current cvs version definition and implementation of mkdir have different
parameters.
In lyxlib.h
int mkdir(char const * pathname, unsigned int mode);
and in mkdir.C
int mkdir(char const * pathname, mode_t mode)
This wont compile under cygwinb20, gcc-2.95.2. I changed mode_t in mkdir.C

The second patch I submitted to LyX, was a patch that among other things
added ESC as a shortcut to close most dialogs. So I will not be the

Hi,
First: thanks for your work for the linux community.
I installed lyx 1.1.4pre2 so to beta-test it, I think I found a bug (or two) in
bibtex files management.
What I did:
1) loaded text.lyx (attached)
2) Insert -> Citation reference
There are no keys in the "key" popdown!
3) I typed by hand
Actually just as irritating is that the preamble editor quits when pressing
ESC. As a vi man, I tend to do that thoughtlessly :-(
Any idea to re-assign it?

What we could try is to get sponsoring from some open-sourcish firm.

You can argue that humans dither better than machines, so it might
still be relevant to have black/white icons. I don't think it's worth
