That got it. bxforms-0.89.glibc2.1 is what you need for Caldera OpenLinux 2.3.
Gotta hand-install it, though, because the COL2.3 setup doesn't match what bxforms
is expecting, for some reason...
Thanks!

Great idea allan!
I think it would be nice to have something every month. Can't do it more
often because there are two week periods where not much gets done, but I
think most months have at least something major happening. You could send it
to lyx-users (lyx-announce?) as well as lwn, because I s

Actually, I posted a bit too soon. If you compile/link with 0.89, LyX bails if
you resize it after startup. So, it only *looks* like it's working, until you
touch it.
0.88 works just fine, though.

Hi folks,
I did a full checkout of lyx-devel:
rm -rf lyx
cvs get -d lyx lyx-devel
cd lyx
./autogen.sh
./configure
make rpmdist
I get that error with direction.h, but a simple "make" works, so it's
a packaging problem rather than a make problem.
The fix is included below.
I have a compilation problem getting lyx1.1.4 to work on Solaris2.7
There is a declaration
extern GC fl_gc;
in the file screen.C,
which does not get resolved at link time.
Anyone help? Please respond to my email address.
Thanks,
Ambrose

Can this be used in the postinstall section of the spec file or only
during setup? It'd be a lot more useful once they have the "not
