wants subitems for item number n, and then _continue_ at item n (not going

I have here with me a Latex file and a BibTex file. With source run they
compile just ok. Is it possible to make Lyx understand that it has to
search for references on the BibTex file?

I tried the easy route. I generated a TeX document with the program
"html2latex" that includes some png pictures. When I run reLyx on the
document, no pictures show up. Here is a cutting from the TeX document
to show how the picture

Convert those to eps with your favorite tool like Xv.
It would be very nice if LyX would support other than eps files, but AFAIK

bibliography section to my TOC, and LyX returned the following error:
