Some months ago I asked about how show binary and polynoms divisions.
Well, I solved the problem with a tricky use of tables (suggested
by Herbert).
Today, I was looking for another kind of packages and I got
the polynom packages.
It looks great, it not only allow you write divisions, it solves
It´s completely empty.
I think the whole problem was, that I put the"
\renewcommand\thepage{\arabic{page}}" and all my other useless trials just
behind the TOC instead of putting it at the beginning of the text. Though
it affected the last page of the TOC instead of the first page of the
norm

Yes.

Hi Jean-Marc,
Oui, c'est ca!
Thanks so much for your help and also to Allan. That was the final key to
get it to compile. I had to move the Lsstream.h include statement to the
end of the includes in the following files:
src/Spacing.C:#include "Lsstream.h"
src/buffer.C:#include "Lsstream.h"
src
I see, there was a missunderstanding:
I want to avoid pagenumbering in the TOC, but afterwords at the normal
text, I want to have pagenumbering. The problem is, that after avoiding
the pagenumbering in the TOC, the pagenumbering at the normal text at even
pages disapeared.

It seems to me that the new preference feature of version 1.1.6
needs that a personal bind file should include as first line
the required standard binding file:
lyx-1.1.5 (lyxrc)
\bind_file xemacs
\bind_file sun_keyboard
lyx-1.1.6 (preferences)
If sun_keyboard is selected in the preferences,
I'm using LyX version 1.1.6Fix1.
I have a master document that includes three files (I've tried both Article
and Book class to see if it made a difference: it didn't). The includes are
preceeded by a title, author and TOC. All of the include files are Article
class LyX files.
In the master
Hello!
I just wanted to say BIG THANKS to you all for the best wordprocessor I've
ever used!! LyX is fast and stable, and after getting used to it's philosophy
writing with LyX is much more productive than any other program I've ever
used: Not having to worry about the layout is phantastic!

i'm a bit confused. do you want to have pagenumbers in the toc or not?

I´m sorry, but it didn´t work. There are still no pagenumbers at even

Attached you will find the beginning of my Lyx-file, maybe I
missunderstood something wrong.

Replace your xforms package with the one found in
ftp.sylvan.com/pub/lyx. This is a better one.
For the warning with "_", I don't know what this me

In formula.C, could you try to move the line
#include "Lsstream.h"
after the other #include lines?

Hi
A trick that may provide a satisfying solution is to use the floatflt package
and follow the procedure as described in the extended manual (section 5.3) for
wrapping text around figures.
(Put \usepackage{floatflt} in the LaTeX Preamble if there are no other floats
in the document)
Instead of
Hi All,
Just something that bugs me about the math mode in Lyx.
When I am in math mode and want to highlight the equation
to the end of the equation for a cut/copy and paste operation,
I find that hitting shift and then the end key does not highlight the
equation up to the end of the equation! Kn

As far as I know, pybliographic cannot do this. The
