Oops, sorry! :---(
I have been following Allan Rae's presentations based on foiltex
(http://www.devel.lyx.org/~rae/) to make my own presentations.
It is easy to do and the results are very nice.
One little problem though. The text font used is sans serif and
the math font (both text and numbers) is roman. It woul

Excellent! This will work just fine. However, it would be even better if
the equation number was vertically centered with the figure. (My picture is
a bit tall.) For example, I would prefer this

Hi,
I have a picture (eps format) of a chemical reaction that I would like to
enter in the text as if it were a labeled equation. I want the chemical
reaction labeled in sequence with the other equations, most of which are
actual math. Here is an example of what I would like to do:

Hey,
I am using Lyx 1.1.6fix1 with Suse Linux 7.1. When I worked with Lyx,
Lyx is sometimes not able to delete his files in /tmp. Lyx says, that
it can't delete them because they doesent't exist. So I have to kill the
process.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks

It is also possible to have

which implies \begin{array}{rl

Hello,
I just had to do a reformat and reinstall of my system, and am trying to get
back all of the little classes and layouts that I had installed previously. In
hitting the link:
http://www-rocq.inria.fr/~lasgoutt/cv.cls
I get an "forbidden, no access" message. Are the cv class and layout no

I used "add chapter" in report koma-script, but I don't know if this is the
proper thing to do, since page numbering might be different for appendix.

There's probably a better way, but you can just use TeX mode and enter
"\pounds".

No. Should it?
The list is for things that mathed needs to read "unexpectedly".
The \mbox{$...$} should appear in an \newcommand definition, so we are
prepared somehow (although I am not sure whether it would work right now)
But that reminds me that "nati
