Hi I wanted to install unix binaries here of the latest lyx release (1.1.6fix4), from ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/bin/1.1.6fix4/ but rpm stands for "redhat package manager" and unless one uses that linux version, what can be used instead? I have IRIX 6.5 here on SGIs. thanks Frederic --
