Please help. I just changed jobs, and had to go from using lyx on a Unix box at my old job to wanting to use it on a PC at my new job. I had it installed on my PC (Windows 2000), but I can't seem to open a *.lyx file that I created under Unix, once I copied that file over to my PC. Any ideas?

Surprisingly, there are files named "getopt" on Ruurd's LyX distribution! It seems too difficult to find out a solution to my conversion problem, but, for the time being, I can survive without having lyx2lyx working properly on my machine. I have found out the solution to the reported problem. If, in the LyX file produced by ReLyX, I replace \lyxformat 2.15 by \lyxformat 221, everything goes fine when I open the converted file with LyX. (Again, I am working with LyX 1.3.2, supplied by Ruurd Reitsma for Win32.)
