Looking at the icons in the dock of my Mac, it's hard not to notice that the LyX icon -- with Lydia sitting on top of the letters LyX -- being relatively complicated, is less readily identifiable and less graphic than other icons. Most icons are simpler, and more successful IMHO because of

I am using LyX 1.6.7 on a Mac. There are several things that I can do easily in tex that I cannot figure out how to do from the keyboard in LyX: 1) Accents: Erd\H{o}s, P\'{o}a, etc. 2) I can make keyboard shortcuts for \label{E} and \cite{E}, but not \ref{E}. Any help would be greatly

Just as a follow-up for anyone who’s interested... It appears that the txfonts/pxfonts packages are not compatible with the esint package that LyX uses for mathmode. To disable it: Go to Document Settings... Go to the ‘Math Options’ preferences pane. Untick both the ‘Use esint package
