I found that these work. I suggest using these in the Math mode font
toolbar since the current approach leaves the cursor outside the insert
text box
# insert in mathbf font or mathcal
\bind "C-M-b""command-sequence math-insert \mathbf;
char-backward"
\bind "C-M-e""comm
It looks like it's about time to wrap up this thread. It has been a good
exchange and I believe that the developers have been helpful and suitably
notified. If someone thinks it is better to file a formal bug report, please
let me know.
I will summarize for myself by saying that, even though I

Hello:
I would like to export a lyx file to plain latex file so that the original
image files would be used in the created tex file. Currently when I export to
plain latex all the images are converted to eps files and the images are
referenced in the tex file by the figure names only without th

Thanks Richard for the correction,
I have mixed these two-way packages... I was thinking about the
writer2latex filter that allows us to save in Latex format (I use it with
NeoOffice, under OSX).

You could check rtftolatex, and openoffice (oolatex) based solutions too. I
use word2tex from Chikrii Software (it is a commercial soft, with an
interesting education price), it allows me to save in latex from Word. You
