Did you change the default settings for the figure wrap float inset after adding
it to the document? If not, right-click the "handle" (where it says "wrap:
Figure") and select "Settings". Change the placement to left, make sure the
width is set appropriately, and make sure the "float" option is not

Using Lyx 2.05 and KOMA-script 3.11 I'm getting errors when trying to compile
koma-letter2.lyx or the example file koma-letter2-example.lyx from
http://wiki.lyx.org/Examples/KomaLetter2.
This is what they look like in the log:
