The Windows Arial font is essentially a lightly modified copy of Helvetica. Ask your teacher if Helvetica would be an acceptable substitute. If so, in your LyX document, set Layout-Document-Fonts to helvet, and see if the output will be satisfactory. Hallo, der Versuch eine serifenlose
