Different bindings for math/non-math?

Hi! I have been using LyX for a while now, and very much enjoying it, but I would really love to be able to set different key bindings for math mode and non-math mode. My main reason for this is that in math mode, I have to use the Ctrl, Meta, and Shift keys so much that its starting to hurt

I apologize for the confusion, but I figured one thing out but would like to ask something new. I figured out how to insert a math macro: Alt-x to start writing a command, and then math-macro dbar 0 to start a new math macro will then input the macro right then and there (with dbar being the
