Thanks, Jurgen, I'll try that. As to the other questions, I'm using 1.4.3 on one machine and 1.3.7 on another. One of the things that bugs me about KOMA, is that if I select 'times' for the font, I want 'times' to be the font *everywhere*. It is really inconsistent to have the TOC be one
