Do you also have de-only.rws in C:\Aspell\dict\? That's the actual
dictionary (I think). You probably should also have de_DE-only.rws.
i only have the de_DE-only.rws in C:\Aspell\lib\aspell-0.60
(i don't have the de-only.rws)
now it started working. but sometimes it just stops and the alert

i still get this alert when i hit F7:
The spellchecker could not be started.
no word list can be found for the Language de_DE
under Werkzeuge Einstellungen Rechtschreibprüfung i have
