I am writing a two column book. I want to change a table, which is to broad for
one column, to longtable. Do I have to
insert-> floats -> wide table float
copy the content of the former table float
into the new wide table float
or is there a shortcut where I just somehow tell Lyx to

In userguide lyx version 1.0.2pre3 on page 80 is a tabular example. One
question to the line numbered with 10. The number 10 is in the middle
(horizontal) of the cell. I would like to set the number 10 to the top
of the cell.

(I'm allready using "smallest"). I think that the best way is to reduce
space between lines but I don't know I to do it .

I have 4 tables in my doc, inside table floats. If I put the
tables before the captions, I get tables numbered 1, 3, 5, 7.
If I put them afterward, I get 2, 4, 6, 8. But the actual

Just found that it doen't work properly to copy a table with column
control like "@{}c". The control will appear in the column width
option in the copied table.
Again, the defined column width will not be copied to a new table.
