I sent Doug my email address so he could send me the file directly. I
certainly understand the policies about emailing files on the list.

I do get the screeching sound on the m100 if I type sound on. But I have also
tried loading with sound off as some have suggested on the internet.

I bought a Tandy CR-83 cassette recorder from EBAY that came with a
cassette cable for the M100/102. I have two devices that appear to both be
working normally but I am unable to load a program or document from a
cassette. I tested the cassette recorder by recording some music from my
computer by l
Yes. The actual program is what I’m trying to find. Thanks for responding!

The book “Things to Do with your TRS-80 Model 100 Computer” refers to a
program called “Fake List” written by E J Louis that sold for $25 on
cassette. It uses the address book program to search for and display
summary info about songs for musicians. I have done some searching on Club

Brian,
At home I have a display and keyboard on the pi but at the office I was totally
headless. I am not super familiar with Linux. The pi is my first Linux device
ever. I will try to figure out this Getty for the m100.

I started over with a new install of Raspian and that made errors go away

Ken,
I reinstalled version 1.6 on my Windows 10 machine and the performance is
better. It must be either something with my install of 1.7 or 1.6 just runs
better.

Ken,
I am running version 1.7 on Windows 10. I just updated to 1.7 from 1.6 and that
could be when the issue started. I will try going back to 1.6 and see if that
speeds things up.

like. Now the emulator is reacting very slowly. I'm running it on a
modern Dell laptop with i7 processor and 16GB Ram so I don't think it was
my computer. Is this expected behavior or did I mess something up in
