Thanks much. I see an old post from Rick mentioning that now that you gave
me a pointer. And even without macdos, that reminded me of lapdos and some
other msdos emulator pdd.exe? . 2 more chances to find something that works
even if they are both for msdos. Plus maybe possibly windows mcomm.

There's a program called MacDOS II, I believe it's a TPDD emulator for
older macs. Not sure what vintage. I don't know where to find it.
If he can find development tools for the machine, dlplus might be the best
bet.
