I would call these "news groups" rather than "address
lists" which suggests they are merely lists of
addresses which they are clearly not. In fact you'd be

Funnily enough when I was fledgling mail artist in
1980 the "old timers" then told me the halycon days of
mail art were the 70's and I'd just missed it all!
But for me it was an exciting new world I had
discovered and the 8o and 90's were great for me and I
