Before posting, I tested IOS 5.01, and can confirm that your statement is

Thank you for restricting your enquiry to what may be needed on the iPhone. The
Windows side of this is, of course, off topic for this group.
I'm only posting so that anybody thinking of replying won't bother offering

Yeah I cannot do that jesture because of my wrist problems. I wish apple would

You should have no problem connecting a printer to your Mac. Once you do,
it should be found and identified by Mac OS X. It might tell you that it is
downloading the appropriate drivers, but you should have no issues.
If it includes a scanner, the only potential "issues" I am aware of

Hi Paul,
To extract a phone number, let me set up an example. Lets say I have a text
message as follows:
"For a good time call 867-5309 and ask for Jenny."
Perhaps someone can find a better method but there appears to be no way to
select the phone number exclusively while viewing a text --

Yes, I think you're right that VoiceOver calls it the "Accent" key. I've just
tried this a couple of times and I cannot replicate the problem. Each time I
did it it worked perfectly well. So who knows; maybe it's something local in
the configuration of the specific system; but I've
Thanks This is pretty much what I do, voiceover calls the ' key accent but
we are using the same keys. I think the problem occurs when a window you

drag from.
Often the issue is when you are trying to drag out of one applica

Actually you don't need to arrange any windows at all. Just use the Finder
command (Command+N) to open a new window and cycle through the open windows

Hello John
OK, well at least as you say she should have the Command+Option+V alternative,
that never fails here. Using the mouse, of course, this kind of function works

I just wonder if somebody sighted could test if using the expose feature
would consolidate the use of drag and drop with voiceover. I often get the
message that drag and drop will not work because the window is not visible.
As I understand it the point of expose is to arrange all windows so that

Sorry this is a little dated; but yes, we have successfully managed to drag and

You need to make sure that both winnows are visible; i.e., have 2 finder
