Hello,
I have just wasted nearly an hour trying to download Skype.
I clicked on get Skype and then on mac and then free.
Then I clicked on download Skype and no where can I find where I download it.
I did find a caption, which seems absolutely ridiculous to go through just to
get Skype.

Trevor,
Not sure if this will help you or not.
Do you have a Skype account already or not? I found this link which may
have split over two lines in this message.
Regards,
Roger.

Hi Roger,
Thank you, your help is very much appreciated.
I was a little premature asking for help because since I asked I managed to
download it and I have now tested it out and got it working fine.
Thanks again,
Trevor

Hello all.
Can you please try and help with the following.
Last night I let both my mac and iPhone charge. So I logged out of my
user account and all was fine and I left it for a few hours. But when I
came back to it, VoiceOver said, displaying 1 system dialogue, and I
therefore could not do
You cannot disable the screen, but you can turn the brightness all the
way down to 0% if you want. Simply press FN-F1 until VoiceOver says,
0%. Note if you have the function keys configured to use hardware
features, which is the case by default, just press F1.

Hi,
I've covered this is another topic.
Basically, what happens is that the screensaver appears. When that happens,
tapping a key doesn't automatically bring focus to the window. So, you can hit
VO-F1-F1 to bring up the Application CHooser. Go to the Login window menu,
then hit enter on it
You can turn the screen curtain on with control-option-shift-f11.
The control and option keys that must be used are the ones on the left, and are
commonly known as the co keys, for VoiceOver.
Also, in system preferences, go to keyboard and check the box stating to use
all f1 through f12 keys
Oh of course! Screen curtain disables the screen. Know this as I can do
it on my iPhone. Cheers!

Thomas, boy! do I feel foolish! the caps lock was on. I'm new to mac and I
get so hung up on trying to figure things out that I tend to overlook or
forget the simple things. Glad I didn't call apple support - Ha!

Don't worry, have played with Mac for years and had that happen a while back

Hi,
I haven't found another PDF reader that is accessible. I haven't tried them
all though because many of them are $4.99 and up and I would rather not
waste the money. I haven't heard anything from anyone else about one that
works. I will look in to the mobiPocket issue and see what I can

The Lite version (the version that comes without the AV software) is just
about to be put on our site. I believe it works as a trial as well as an
upgrade.

Hi there
Thanks for this, it is very much appreciated. I found eBookMobi, however I
am finding that it is a little tricky to navigate through the files. Other
than that, the app is quite accessible.
Thanks again for your help.

I'm not Gordon but here is what I would suggest.
