1. Renaming files and folders - just press return on the file or folder.
2. Not sure about automatic deletion. I use S Archiver which simply creates
the extracted foderfolder next to the archive file so it is not too much of

Hi Melissa,
If you choose to use SArchiver, under the Misc options in Preferences,
you'll find a checkbox called Move archive to Trash after openeing.
That should solve your problem

Hi Everybody,
Well, I finally made my decision and got my iPhone 4S on Saturday! I
absolutely love it! I'm having trouble deleting a contact, and wondered if
someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong. I double tap the edit button,
double tap delete, double tap it again to confirm the
They hid the button. YOu need to do a 4 finger touch at the bottom of the
screen and flick to delete. I get the feeling I'm answering the same question
wight ht exact same words or maybe it's a moment of déjà vu which it very well
could be.
Be blessed.

Simply hit enter on the file or folder to rename it., type the name and hit
enter.

Actually I just hit enter on the whole conversation and left and arrow through
thereby reading the whole conversation with 1 hand, or at least that' the way
it's supposed to work. ML broke threading in some folders where it will only
thread by name, and the related messages thing is not checked
Hi Sarah,
Thanks so much! I have never asked this question before, but I don't doubt for
a second that you have answered it a lot of times! LOL! I'm sure they don't
want people to delete things by accident, but if they're going to hide the

I should know the answer to this but can't remember it.
I want to move a folder from my old MBP to a new Air. It's 98 GB in size.
I was thinking of using a crossover network cable and using filesharing, and
the appropriate permissions, to accomplish this. I've looked at

Hi Sarah,
Unfortunately the Air doesn't have a firewire port. You're right though Target
mode would be an option if they did have those ports.

Ah cool. I'm remembering the manuals I've read. Hmm. I wonder if there is a way

I think I recall there is a way to set up a Mac so that it is a slave to
another Mac, possibly in Recovery Partition.
However as an alternative an obvious response, and probably a stupid

Hi Dónal,
Can't you just ftp or sftp from one machine to the other if they're both on
either a wireless or wired network? Do you have the USB ethernet connector for
the MacBook Air? Of course, with 98 GB, that might take a while. Also,
AirDrop is supposed to work as a way to share files
