Does anyone have an answer for the problem I encounter when trying to read PDF files with Preview? As VoiceOver reads the PDF, it cuts off the first letter of each sentence, and adds the first letter of the next sentence. For example, if the PDF says: "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy do

Hi Dónal, I use Digit Eyes, and I find that it knows the major brands about 90 percent of the time, and the off-brands are rarely identified. By off-brands, I mean like the Hy-Vee stuff or in other words, the generic brands. But it is the best one out there AFAIK. I would buy another if I knew of

Having an odd issue with chromevox at the moment, it doesn't speak if voiceover is turned on, the 2 used to work ok together. Chrome doesn't have the busy problem but it does have some odd quirks. Voiceover is unable to read certain list boxes, and if you come across some unlabeled links, voiceo

This has never been an issue here, I've been testing ML since it was a release preview, and had no such problems. If anything, the safari experience has grown more stable with every upgrade to the system, not less. The only exception I can think of is with Lion, where it was briefly very difficu

I'm having a quick play with it now and it takes a little getting used to the tones and the way they are used but looks very nice. When setting tempo, if you want to move by 8 steps rather than 1, use a 3 finger swipe up or down. You'll get a beep but it will actually work. Much nicer when movin
