I threatened to sick the nfb on engineering. Upon doing this, they said
there would be an update by the end of last weekend. Boy? oh boy? did they
apparently take my threat seriously! I don't like doing that kind a thing,
but enough breakage is enough!
Thank you kindly,

Yes you can join wifi but I didn't know you could setup and maintain one
easily. As far as I'm aware you need a wired connection to create a wifi
network but I'm happy to be wrong.
I will say that our AirPort Extreme is the most stable wireless router we've
ever had and having airport utility
Hi All
After hearing that the App Store had been down for a few hours, I wondered
if Apple had been doing some work to fix the accessibility issues that us
iPad users had been experiencing. So, this morning, I thought I'd check out
the app store on the iPad for myself and to my great surprise, the
Hi all, thanks have now got this update. suddenly a problem has started
happening that has not happened before. when I record something then play it
back to test it nothing is coming out. It is as if the application is recording
a sound file but nothing seems to be being detected with the microp
Paul,
Honestly, you don't need an Airport Express/Extreme. Any wireless router
will do. They'd just need on the IPad to go into Settings, then Wifi, then
double tap on the name of the wireless network. If the network is secured,
they'll then be asked to type in the password. Then when done
It seems to me that being the interface on Windows opens in your default
browser, I'd think it would be completely Voiceover friendly, as it probably
would just utilize Safari, or Chrome or whatever you're using... Firefox?

Hi Mike,
Yes, there are various AppleScripts that can be used to remove duplicate tracks
in iTunes, and you can also purchase a powerful packaged version of these
scripts called "Dupin" ($15) or a lite version of this called "Dupin Lite"
($7.99) that is sold in the MacApp Store. If you want to
The airport range are wireless routers, not modems. Perhaps there is a way to
set up a modem by logging in via Ethernet via an airport express or extreme but
I'm not sure about this. The other solution is buying a pre configured modem
from an ISP.

Although not really on topic so I won't go into detail, we have a Sky Talker
here which I just haven't got around to setting up yet. I'll try to do that
this weekend. I will report back to our sister group, "Techno-Chat" if you are
a member of that group. If anybody wants to join the request
this app seems to be verry accessible for i-devices, but was wondering if
anyone is using it successfully on the mac?

Apparently it can be used to control a sky HD box. If it is accessible I might
go for the HD subscription.
I hear from someware I think maybe from a KB article that that hardware trick
no longer works. I'd try and bring up the conversation I had with someone about
this on twitter but since I can only pull up the last 3000 tweets that will not
be possible as this conversation took place about a month
Afternoon folks,
There is an update in the App Store which fixes the MP3 issue. Apparently it
was related to the Sandboxing that Apple uses to aid security.
I'm not sure why we bought it from theApp Store.
Take care

Paul,
You can now do all this and more on the iPhone and iPad alone. The only
time you would need a computer is when you want to transfer stuff to
iTunes, such as music, but much is done over the air now thanks to iCloud.

Hi Ian,
Yes I've used it. Not hugely accessible. Parts of the UI are usable but the
most important navigational elements are not.

Sarah, I was under the impression that you no longer needed a monitor. I have
tried it both ways, and I can't tell if not having a monitor is the problem. Is
it true that you need one with the Mac mini? I thought one of the updates to
the OS made that unnecessary. If that's the issue, that would
